Bruin von Braunlage is a gorgeous 2-3 year old German Shepherd. Bruin came to us from a home where he lived with his offspring Jax, and Bruin is already proving to be an absolutely lovable dad.  Like many Shepherds, Bruin was a bit wary after arriving at the rescue.  However, once he got the routine (and lots of love), he showed himself to be the best type of dog.  He walks great on a leash, even when on a pack walk with Jax or another sweet dog.  He's low-to-mid energy so, while he enjoys his walks, he also loves kicking back at home with you.  Bruin is very social around other dogs; he even seeks other playmates in the yard.  With quite the checklist already met – (1) appears to be housebroken; (2) knows his sit and other commands; (3) been to dog parks and (4) being super adorable with that head tilt, Bruin is quite the catch.  The only thing he asks is that his new family has the heart to welcome his son, too, as he is very bonded with Jax.
